I am traveling on business trip to Johannesburg, Durban & Cape Town. Looking for some tips on what to do on my spare time? What is worth to see? I heard it’s unsafe, but if I do city tours with tour organizers would I be fine? Any tips will help. Thank you

I really think these tour companies are less safe because criminals probably see them as easy targets, but other than that there is a lot to do in your spare time,if your staying if your staying in a hotel there should be a lot of other tourists who you could meet up with or you could go to one of the local malls to at least meet up with one local and have a truly South African experience
You’ll be fine. Just do as the tour guides tell you and you should be ok.
Jhb has some historical sites dating from the 19th century to the late 1990′s a lot of malls and clubs and a few cool people.
Durban has a great beach and even better beaches just outside of the city. It also has a great aquarium. Like Jhb also malls and clubs…o yeah, and some cool people too!
Cape Town has a mountain, some historical sites, a lot of wine farms and an ice cold sea and dreaded weather. (I hope you’re a patient person, because their service delivery…tomorrow is another day).
