Why do we want to send our labor pool and skilled staff out of the country on a NATO order when we have plenty of established opportunities with our direct partners in Libya and Iraq as well as other nations? I also do not support a NATO base at Sri Lanka. We have upheld our commitments at the UN, and regionally. Now, it is time that we uphold our commitments to our own country. I want our skilled and unskilled labor forces to gain opportunity, raise their living standards and have the chance to make money in post war reconstruction instead of giving those opportunities away to others whilst they reconstruct to their standards, make money off of our projects and pick through our social welfare programs. NATO was given an option to increase peace in Afghanistan but for whatever reason those projects were ignored. Send your own men to fight your own wars and in this region to have a jumping off point for NATO one must address Russia. We are not going for a scheduling change. I would much rather have my bright and successful military men and doctors stay home and work in new government and development. Stock your NATO from other shores and do not try and fuse our programs with yours. Our doctors can work in conjunction with our government to address the issues of our peoples and our health care facilties. Why shift thousands for naught when replacing a handful of non-performers handles both sides of the equasion, We protect our social services and not let our social services become a feed for those in Europe. Our regional partnerships are very valuable as those peoples and countries are always with us and in our surrounds. We don’t need a subject change as a region we have a development stream that includes nuclear energy for peaceful purposes and we don’t have to give that up to Europe. You will learn not to wage foreign wars to loot and pillage and gain building funds for your countries. Change the way you do business. I smell Ranil, Nirmal and Chandrika all over this – if they are so enamoured with Europe let them stay. We have Japan, China, India, Russia, Middle East and Northern Africa as Governmental partners and your GSP+ does not come under review for another year.
